​​Founder of UGuide, Dana Schlotterer has worked as a high school administrator of a private school guiding seniors through all aspects of the college planning process. Under her guidance, students attend all types of schools ranging from regional universities, to highly selective schools, and anything in between. She also helps 7th - 12th grade students on many facets of student development including:

college planning, extra curricular activities, standardized testing, and career counseling. 

Dane has previously worked as the Coordinator of Internships at Louisiana State University Career Services and as a Career Development Instructor at the University of Alabama.

Dana is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she received both a Bachelor's degree in College Student Development and a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs. She is originally from Miami, FL and now resides in Baton Rouge, LA with her husband, Dean, and their two daughters.
